Yesterday was another rollercoaster of emotions day for me (there seems to be too many of those lately). After waking up to learn that we were unable AGAIN to be approved for the townhome we wanted in Nashville, Marcus and I had to go back to square one in this quest to find a place to live. The stress of house hunting was going to kill me, so I am very thankful that Marcus was able to find us a home while I was working yesterday afternoon. How irritating, though, that I work for 2 months and nothing pans out but he is successful after 2 hours. I find it very difficult to concentrate at work and be pleasant with my tables when all I can think about are the loose ends regarding our move to Nashville; hopefully, our finding a house will keep the stress at bay. We were also very busy at work last night, given the plumbers and pipefitters union in town. Hooray for big tips!
I am meeting my friend Karina, whom I haven't seen in months, for lunch today and running errands before work this evening. Should be another exciting day!
(I just finished a great book, The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards, and I highly recommend it!)
I intend and hope to update this thing every few days or so with stories, interesting tidbits or simple mindless chatter, so until then.....

Very nice, Sis! I think you will make an interesting blog with your articulation & your knack for writing . I will pop in to check up on you, of course.
Love you,
Mom
Nicely said! I look forward to many more entries and I am very excited to start a new chapter with you in Nashville.

Marcus
Hey Sis!
See, I am bck to check already. Is this your soon to be house? VERY nice. Looks big. Maybe we can move in with you. How 'bout it Marcus? haha
BTW, I was confused thinking you were replying to me Carissa, and it was Marcus talking to you.
Nice pictures too! I see maybe you checked up on me today and got your own video for your pictures ??
Can't wait to visit you in Nashville!
Mom
Of course we're interested in what you're doing! It lets us old fogies live vicariously through you as you start something new in a new city - how exciting!
I had the same question as your Mom - is that a picture of your house. Nice! Looks like there might be a guest room for us someday - be careful what you wish for b/c we will come to visit!
Love ya - Steph
Good luck on the move!! Since you'll be passing through, give us a call. Scott's parents are in town for the weekend but they'd love to see you too (meet you is probably more appropriate) since I brag about you all the time to them. Jack is getting big - now has 1 tooth and has had his third haircut (one day he'll be bald like Daddy and won't believe I had to cut it every few weeks).
Anyway - give us a call - Have a good trip to Music City or what you'll call home if I don't get the chance to see you.
Love ya - Steph
